Our Story

In April of 1979, Daniel Flores, started working in the automotive business as one of his father’s employees at his transmission shop in Culver City, California. In 1984, he decided to open his first business, Allfleet Transmissions, where he offered transmission rebuilds and other automotive services. In December of 1990, Dan decided to move from California to beautiful Albuquerque, New Mexico where he opened Quic Transmissions with just one employee.

The company has grown a lot since then. Today, our team includes several certified technicians who know their way around transmissions. Our facility now features eight service bays, where we provide customers from all over Albuquerque and the surrounding areas of Rio Rancho, Santa Fe, Edgewood, Belen, Moriarty, Los Lunas, and others with excellent service.

Quic Transmission & Automotive Services Inc. is independently owned and operated and is not a franchise; because of this, Dan is able to respond to your needs in the quickest and most effective manner possible, ensuring your complete satisfaction. Our shop features ATRA certified technicians, as well as ASE Certified staff that has been recognized for their Automotive Service Excellence. The services we offer are very different than your typical automotive shop. As one of our specialties, all transmissions are fully re-manufactured onsite by our skilled ATRA certified technicians. We use the latest equipment available to produce accurate diagnostic results and modern techniques to perform all services. All our work is backed by excellent written warranties. We accept cash payments and all major credit cards, as well as other payments, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and 90-Day same as cash financing with no interest or finance charges involved.*

Our code of ethics is as follows: we treat every customer with the utmost respect and courtesy and to develop an outstanding relationship with everyone in our community. We will always require ongoing training for all technicians and only perform repairs and services we are authorized to complete.
